My specialisms include working with neurodivergent clients, as well as supporting siblings and parents of children with complex medical conditions, disabilities, and special educational needs. I also specialise in using video games (such as Minecraft and Roblox) and other digital tools (including digital sandtrays) for therapeutic purposes. Additionally, I provide training and consultancy on how to use these tools effectively in therapy.

I began my counselling career at ChildLine in 2009. I qualified as a social worker at Master’s level from the Tavistock Clinic in 2012, with a focus on child and adolescent mental health, working with children, young people, parents, and families. In 2015, I gained a post-graduate qualification as a counsellor and psychotherapist. Since then, I have worked as a counsellor in various settings, including schools, a women’s centre, a young people’s counselling service, and Relate. I also run a private practice where I work with children, young people, parents, and families.

I hold an Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision, including online and telephone work, from Counselling Tutor. Additionally, I have a Certificate in Family Counselling from Relate and a Certificate in Relational Couples Therapy from the Centre for Relational Couples Therapy. I also hold an Advanced Certificate in Online and Telephone Counselling, accredited by ACTO (Association of Counselling and Therapy Online), which ensures I meet the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy's core competencies for working online and over the phone with clients.

As an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor, I draw on several therapeutic approaches (primarily person-centred, psychodynamic, and systemic) depending on the individual needs of my clients.

I use the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision to structure supervision sessions.
The Seven-Eyed Model, developed by Peter Hawkins and Robin Shohet, is widely used in therapy and counselling supervision. It provides a framework to explore and understand the dynamics of the therapeutic process, the relationship between therapist and client, and the supervisor’s contributions to the supervisory relationship. This model is described in their book Supervision in the Helping Professions. Below is a summary of the seven 'eyes' or modes of focus within this model:
Client Presentation: Focusing on how the client presents and what they bring to the session.
Strategies and Interventions: Exploring the strategies and interventions used by the supervisee.
Client-Supervisee Relationship: Examining the relationship between the client and supervisee, including any transference from the client towards the supervisee.
Supervisee’s Countertransference: Focusing on the supervisee, particularly their own emotional responses or countertransference.
Supervisory Relationship and Parallel Processes: Exploring the dynamics of the supervisory relationship, including any parallel processes that may be occurring.
Supervisor’s Self-Reflection: Encouraging the supervisor to reflect on their own processes and responses.
Wider Contexts of the Work: Considering the broader contexts of the client’s and supervisee’s environments.
This model promotes a holistic and reflective approach to supervision, encouraging deeper understanding and insight into the interconnected elements of therapy and supervision.
