MEET YOUR TRAINER: Ellie Finch

Ellie Finch, MA MBACP (Accred), is a counsellor, clinical supervisor, and neurodiversity-affirming practitioner specialising in therapeutic work with children, young people, and families. Drawing on experience across CAMHS, schools, charities, and private practice, Ellie is a recognised leader in integrating videogames like Minecraft into therapy to improve engagement and accessibility. Through her social venture, PlayMode Academy, she offers structured, ethically grounded training for professionals who want to embed creative digital tools into their practice. Her work is supported by Cambridge Social Ventures and UnLtd, and she was part of a University of Cambridge research team that explored how videogames can help create more inclusive mental health support.
